BS 6483-1 – Fertilizer distributors. Methods of evaluating performance under laboratory and field conditions
The standard harmonizes testing of full width solid fertilizer distributors first to fix the variable conditions of laboratory testing and second, to give guidance for the field testing conditions. The laboratory tests describe the influence of forward speed, flow rate, fertilizer level in hoppers, bumps and transverse tilting.
