This Standard can be referenced whenever the processing of two or more application-entity invocations in a distributed application needs to be organized into an atomic action; it also defines services that are used during such processing. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO/IEC 9804:1990 and includes Technical Corrigendum 1:1991.
