AS 3587.5 – Ferroalloys – Chemical analysis, Part 5: Determination of sulfur content – Infrared method
Sets out an infrared method for the determination of sulfur in a range of ferroalloys after combustion in oxygen using high-frequency induction heating. The method is applicable to all types of ferroalloys having sulfur content in the range 0.002 percent to 0.05 percent.
