Specifies requirements for dental phosphate-bonded casting investments for fixed and removable dental appliances. Performance requirements, packaging and marking requirements are laid down. Appendices include methods for determining fluidity and working time of the unset mix, initial setting time, compressive strength and total linear expansion of the investment, and behaviour during casting of fixed and removable dental appliances.
