AS 2251 – Laminar airflow enclosures for protecting hospital patients (incorporating Amdt 1)
Specifies constructional and performance requirements for enclosure for protecting patients where risk of infection by airborne bacteria is considered significant, such as in critical infection risk surgery, treatment of burns and intensive care. Performance requirements relate to components, clean air quality and movement, temperature, humidity, lighting, sound and vibration.
