Sets out requirements for ladders rated as domestic and industrial. It applies to single section, extension, step and trestle ladders, and to ladders representing a combination of these basic types. A full range of tests is included and an appendix includes examples of labels that may be used to convey safety warnings. A further appendix lists variations specified by the Department of Defence in its application of the Standard.
