AS 1557 – Baking insulating and impregnating varnishes for electrical purposes
Covers performance and testing of hard, hard-solventless, flexible and flexible-solventless varnishes for brushing, spraying, dipping or vacuum impregnation of a.c. or d.c. machinery and telecommunication equipment and suitable for use at the maximum temperatures of Classes A/105, E/120 and B/130 materials. Tests are prescribed by reference to AS 1580 or are given in appendices.
