AS 1620 – Dental materials – Casting alloys for fixed dental appliances
Specifies requirements for casting alloys used in the preparation of fixed dental appliances. Classification, composition, mechanical properties , castability, information to be supplied by the manufacturer and packaging and labelling requirements are laid down. Appendices include methods for determining proof stress and elongation, and castability of the alloy.
