AS 1923 – Size coding scheme for hosiery for infants, children, women and men
Sets out a scheme covering all hosiery, in four parts as follows: Part 1 – socks for infants, girls, boys, women and men, in which size designation is by shoe size; Part 2 – women’s stockings, sized by length of foot in centimetres; Part 3 – tights for infants and girls, size coded by height and weight from AS 1182; Part 4 – women’s pantyhose, size coded from height and weight chart included in the Standard.
