This specification lays down the essential electrical and mechanical features of standard sizes of stationary, single-phase a.c. transformer type spot, projection, and comination spot-projection resistance welding equipment. It does not apply to suspension, portable and gun-type resistance welding equipment or to equipment for the consequential operation, control and timing of resistance welding equipment.
